Monthly Archives: February 2011

Welcome back to Bart’s blog

It has been quite a while since I have been online here. Thanks to those who got things up and running again.

For the last two months, I have been working about 30 hours per week at a second-hand kitchen cabinet shop. We buy truckloads of returned cabinets from big retailers, put doors and drawers on them, and sell them at nearly half price from the regular retailers (Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.). On the side, I have been filling back in with Converse Ambulance as a technician, and that takes up a little bit of time each week. When I’m not at one of those two places I am at home with my wife (Andi) and/or son (Lucas) and enjoying them.

God has been working in us in interesting ways, slowly changing and preparing us to work with people in close quarters without always agreeing. We are wrapping up our application process with Pioneer Bible Translators, and so far it promises to be a fun ride following God as he pulls and pushes us where he wants us. We are just trying to follow him right now, and grow while we do it.
